Octoply wanted website copy that effectively channelled potential clients to the right Octoply service while engaging them with some personality behind the screens to help Octoply stand out from the crowd. This project also involved creating company tag lines and catchphrases to be used through the Octoply marketing.

YD Virtual Assistant needed the website copy to tick a few boxes. It needed to be benefit driven, be to position YD VA as “the blue chip VA” while also being approachable and friendly, to match Yolanda’s personal style. The new brand messages and copywriting were transformed into a new Facebook Welcome tab and Info tab.

Eat Out With Kids had a very successful blog and was getting a new website created that would focus on Jane’s reviews of child-friendly restaurants, cafes and pubs around Brisbane. The copywriting for the homepage needed to maximise the targeted keywords (for a competitive topic) but also infuse a lot of personality to make it fun and engaging.

(Homepage, Career Coaching, Free Resources, Love My Work Toolbox) with new copy and targeted keywords. I also made sure the OrgSuccess social media pages had the same warm language and focused messages.

The Poop Scoop Service wanted a website and blog that had personality. A cheeky personality that wasn’t embarrassed about talking about poop! 
I researched some great keywords and made sure they were peppered through the poop talk along with some printed marketing to help spread the word.
Aromatique Essentials wanted their two most popular pages (the Homepage and the Products page) to introduce visitors to the benefits of aromatherapy, while captivating their senses. The supplied keywords were maximised to help search engine optimisation.
Organic Hygiene Care / My Winalte
These two homepages dealt with a touchy topic and were originally quite bland and confusing. I used warm, natural language that focused on the really strong product benefits (while maximising their keywords) and made sure there was a clear to call to action.
The Sherbrooke Centre wanted to give their website a more inviting feel; to go beyond the address and contact details and give students a more tangible sense of what they could achieve with yoga.

The LITTLE Art Studio was a newly opened art gallery for local amateur artists to display their work alongside the owner of the gallery, Leesa Bradford. With foot traffic increasing Leesa wanted to target local newspapers to increase the local profile of the gallery.
Iddy Biddy Boo

Iddy Biddy Boo needed a listing for their magazine advertising. They didn’t have much space and wanted to portray the uniqueness of their product range of personalised kids accessories. They also wanted communicate a warm sense of fun and play. This project was done as part of The Australian School of Copywriting.

To launch the new Eat Out With Kids website, there needed to be some additional buzz and this press release helped make news out of the launch. The press release focused on the difficulties parents face finding child-friendly dining during the school holidays, when they are eating out more than usual.

This promotional flyer was created for a new social media workshop being run by Green Chilli Marketing. GCM wanted to differentiate the workshop, focusing on the idea that it was going teach business owners how to do social media well (not how to get started in social media). The ”spicy” Green Chilli personality was also a very important component of the copy and it was very well received!

While Classic Blinds and Shutters were offering their customers a great discount they wanted to communicate just how different they were to their competitors. In a small space that meant making every word count! This flyer was done as part of a project with Green Chilli Marketing.

Netway Network needed a marketing brochure that could be used effectively during the early stages of their sales process. The copywriting needed to identify the needs of the reader and break down their IT services packages in an appealing manner.

Victor Print & Design had new owners and wanted to introduce themselves to the existing client base. They also wanted to mention some fantastic new design services they were offering without having a “hard sell”. While the new owners were very laid back they knew their local target market were more formal ‘baby boomers’ and the letter reflected that in its style.

Clipex needed a promotional flyer that would promote their revolutionary fencing products at an AGForce Farmers meet after the QLD floods in 2010 (a time when a lot of farmers were facing the challenge of install new fences). This project was done as part of The Australian School of Copywriting.
The Poop Scoop Postcard

The Poop Scoop Service needed to increase the number of customers they had in the same suburb (to maximise the return on their travel time) and a postcard was perfect to drop into local letterboxes. It was written from a “friendly neighbour” and offered an awesome deal when the postcard was mentioned.
XXXTC Strippers and Showgirls

This was a cheeky, flirty flyer that was going to be faxed out before Christmas. It needed to be sexy but classy and bring a sense of harmless fun that would mean that if the person receiving the fax wasn’t in the target market (i.e. they were the female receptionist) they wouldn’t object to passing it on.

Email Marketing was really effectively used by Disprax as a cheap but targeted method of promotion. Each email promotion was broken into three message: the first containing information, the second containing a promotional offer and the third a deal closer.
